One of the common questions from sellers is how do we initially get their contact information.

This is a pretty easy thing to do because in the United States, when you own a property, your tax mailing address is public record. This is incase the municipality or creditors need to contact you.

Sellers often ask us. How we initially get their contact information when we decided to reach out and see if they're interested in selling us a property?


Well, it's a pretty easy thing to do. In the United States, when you own a property, your tax mailing address is public record. In case the municipalities need to send you any property bills or creditors need to get in contact with you. So what we end up doing is in the locations where we know we want to buy properties, we'll go into the, County tax assessor's records. And we'll just go property by property and find the mailing address of the owner for the subject property that we're looking to purchase. At that point, what we do is, we'll usually send you a letter saying, Hey, we're Effortless Home Buyers and we buy properties in any condition. And we provide fair offers. Usually within 24 to 48 hours. So, pretty easy. Just scrape the public tax records. And that's how we are able to get in contact with you.
